About Us
Pholwittaya School was founded in 1954 by
Mrs Pongpen Chittsena. The current Principal
and School Director is Mrs Ampitha Chittsena.
On startup on May 17th 1954, the school had
four teachers and one classroom. In 1955 the
school went through its first expansion by
adding a total of three academic years and
the number of students rose to 252, and
through the years since the school has
continued to expand and currently, as of
February 2022, the school now has 250 staff
members and 3500 students.
The school teaches preschool and reception
levels, kindergarten levels, primary years 1
through 6 and secondary years 1 through 6.
In 1998 Pholwittaya Bilingual School was
founded and added to the organization as
part of the commitment to modern and
developing education practices. The Bilingual
School delivers a program taught in both
English and Thai languages by fully qualified
teachers and follows a curriculum that reflects
international education standards.
